Zynga Game Network India Pvt Ltd is hiring a Senior Mobile Game Engineer to join the team behind popular titles like 101 Okey Plus, Gin Rummy Plus, Spades Plus, and Backgammon Plus. You will contribute to the continued success, stability, and vision of these games. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional player experiences.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the development of current and new games using the Unity engine.
- Participate in project planning and estimation.
- Research, design, and implement solutions to enhance game services.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability challenges.
- Work as part of a team with other talented developers, designers, and artists.
- Continuously improve within Zynga's engineering culture.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- 3 to 4+ years of game development experience with at least 2 years in Unity.
- Hands-on experience developing UI, audio, animation systems, and shader effects.
- Strong CPU and GPU optimization skills.
- Deep understanding of mobile platforms and their specific requirements.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, coding, and testing patterns.
- Eagerness to search, discuss, and share information about new technologies and tools.
- Comfortable speaking and reading English.
- Analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in native development for Android or iOS.
- Released titles in Unity on a mobile platform.
- Experience developing multiplayer games.
- One particular area of expertise such as Architecture, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Network, WebGL, or Client Security.
