Pleo is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer

Pleo is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our Employee Spend & Mobile department. You'll help evolve our Mobile Platform and directly enhance the Mobile App's offering, making it faster and easier for hundreds of thousands of users to manage their spending and expenses.

What You'll Do

• Lead initiatives to design, build, and maintain innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement to our Mobile Application and Platform.
• Participate in code reviews, post-mortems, and provide mentorship to other engineers.
• Build high quality and maintainable mobile app features.
• Contribute to the execution, delivery, and quality of projects within and outside the team.

What We're Looking For

• Experience developing and maintaining React Native mobile apps.
• Strong TypeScript skills.
• Familiarity with the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) design pattern.
• Proficiency with CI/CD processes and tools such as Github Action.
• Knowledge of tools like Expo.
• Experience building quality apps with E2E testing frameworks like Maestro.
• An understanding of current industry trends and best practices.

Nice to Have

• Bonus points for native iOS and/or Android development.

You will join a team of 6 as part of the Mobile Experience team within the Employee Spend & Mobile department, reporting to the team’s manager.
