About the Role
Design and lead the implementation of end-to-end machine learning and AI systems, from concept to deployment, ensuring robustness, scalability, and integration within cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define architecture for machine learning pipelines and AI-driven applications
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate models into production systems
- Evaluate and select appropriate cloud-based AI/ML tools and services
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards
- Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance
- Optimize model inference and training workflows for efficiency
- Integrate AI components with existing enterprise systems
- Develop reusable frameworks for common ML engineering tasks
- Mentor engineers on best practices in ML system design
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Support deployment of models across multiple environments
- Design data ingestion and preprocessing infrastructure
- Implement model versioning and lifecycle management
- Ensure scalability and reliability of AI services
- Guide selection of appropriate algorithms and frameworks
- Work closely with product teams to understand requirements
- Troubleshoot complex system integration issues
- Promote use of automated testing in ML pipelines
- Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies
- Document architectural decisions and system designs
