BGB Group is hiring a Senior Medical Writer who will take greater ownership and independence in content creation and client relationships. You will be responsible for driving the development of high-quality, strategically aligned materials that meet agency and client standards.
What You'll Do
- Conduct proficient research using appropriate resources in a timely manner.
- Develop scientifically accurate, strategically aligned, and grammatically correct content from initiation through completion, with manager input.
- Accurately and efficiently annotate content per brand style guide and AMA rules.
- Assume full accountability for the accuracy of your work.
- Understand the product, scientific, therapeutic, and competitive landscape to proactively recommend project directions to the internal team.
- Adhere to internal BGB processes, timelines, and cross-functional team agreements.
- Actively engage in discussions with clients in team settings.
- Build skills and comfort speaking to content during client calls.
- Build rapport with clients over time through demonstrated subject matter expertise.
- Act as a client-facing medical lead, with manager support, when required.
- Partner with your manager and the Account team to provide a united, organized, and professional client experience on teleconferences and in person.
- Understand the role of Medical within the agency and help set appropriate team expectations and operating norms.
What We're Looking For
- A proven record of independently and successfully executing core medical writing responsibilities and competencies.
- Demonstrated greater independence and ownership in your work compared to a standard Medical Writer.
