Requirements
- Hands-on experience with PIM/MDM platforms such as Syndigo or Informatica MDM, and related data domains (product, item, supplier, location, customer)
- Proven expertise in system design and distributed architecture: microservices, event-driven patterns, and horizontal scaling
- Strong experience with event streaming and real-time integration (e.g., Kafka, CDC tools)
- Solid database background across relational (Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Redis); working knowledge of graph databases (e.g., Neo4j) and when to apply them
- Proficiency in Python and object-oriented design; able to actively contribute to codebases and set engineering standards
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data quality frameworks: profiling, rules engines, monitoring, and reconciliation pipelines
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data catalog tooling
- Familiarity with cloud-agnostic service design across at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- 10+ years in software/data engineering, with 5+ years leading teams delivering enterprise data platforms or services
- Experience leading global multidisciplinary engineering teams (software, data, SRE) with cross-functional collaboration with Architecture and Product
- Demonstrated ability to define, implement, and report on KPIs/OKRs that guide decisions and communicate progress to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to align diverse, global teams on shared outcomes
Nice to Have
- Delivered integrations with PLM, DAM, ERP, or commerce platforms (e.g., FlexPLM, Adobe AEM Assets, SAP)
- Working knowledge of Looker and Tableau for operational and executive reporting
- Experience with privacy and security compliance (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), access controls, and data masking/tokenization
- Exposure to supply chain, digital commerce, or omnichannel product content workflows
- Familiarity with AI/ML techniques applied to data quality, entity resolution, or automated metadata tagging
