About the Role

GE Aerospace is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Manager - Projects and Initiatives to execute our standards strategy and deploy best-in-class processes across our global MRO Network. This role will act as a critical change agent, identifying opportunities for efficiency and standardization in overhaul and repair operations.

What You'll Do

  • Be the critical leader for identifying and standardizing processes to improve delivery metrics across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Perform analytics and comparisons of data from Overhaul and repair shops.
  • Devise and implement change management strategies to establish a standard work model.
  • Engage with FLIGHT DECK leaders to eliminate waste in standard processes.
  • Work with the Digital team to digitize and automate standard processes.
  • Influence experts across the network to build globally acceptable processes.
  • Advocate for adoption of standard work with shops and cross-functional teams.
  • Act as a site change agent for future evolutions of solutions.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives at Repair and Overhaul shops.
  • Define an effective communication process for changes in standards.
  • Introduce and track measurements against implemented changes.
  • Conduct regular audits at your located site to ensure measurement against standards.

What We're Looking For

  • For UK-based candidates: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience in Manufacturing & Projects and Initiatives.
  • For US-based candidates: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and/or at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing & Projects and Initiatives.
