Dataiku is hiring a Senior Manager, Tax Operations to lead our global tax function. This high-visibility leadership role is responsible for ensuring our global tax operations are technically sound, operationally efficient, and scalable to support ongoing international expansion.

What You'll Do

• Lead the global corporate income tax compliance function in collaboration with external advisors.
• Manage the global quarterly and annual tax provision process under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740), including ETR analysis, deferred tax calculations, and tax footnote preparation.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure tax provisions and transfer pricing are accurately reflected in statutory and consolidated financial statements.
• Own the global transfer pricing process, including policy implementation and calculation accuracy.
• Manage in-house staff and advisors on all sales tax/VAT/GST compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure accurate indirect tax treatment for all domestic and international transactions.
• Collaborate with Finance IT to optimize tax systems, including Avalara.
• Implement best practices, global process standards, and SOX-compliant controls.
• Partner with Finance IT to identify and deliver automation and system enhancements for tax compliance and reporting.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track global tax compliance status.
• Monitor global legislative changes to ensure worldwide compliance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience, including global tax operations leadership in a multinational company or a Big 4 advisory role.
• Technical expertise in U.S. GAAP (ASC 740), international income tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.
• Strong tax research skills.
• Experience managing tax operations in a high-growth, cross-border environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage external advisors, and operate with a high degree of ownership.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, project management, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SOX, IPO readiness, and public company reporting requirements.
