Responsibilities
- Consistent attendance is required, aligned with company policy and supervisory expectations.
- Identify opportunities to acquire or develop new utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across North America.
- Conduct in-depth financial and strategic assessments, including company valuations and feasibility analyses for potential acquisitions.
- Collect and maintain current data on market dynamics, industry trends, economic factors, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Participate in industry organizations to uncover emerging market opportunities and solutions.
- Prepare summaries and strategic recommendations for acquisitions, divestitures, and other key transactions.
- Oversee all real estate activities from initial site control through to final title policy issuance.
- Support acquisition of preliminary title commitments and assist in resolving title issues to meet financier requirements.
- Collaborate with the real estate team to manage title closings, closing letters, and final title policies with necessary endorsements.
- Coordinate updates to ALTA surveys to satisfy requirements of lenders and title companies.
- Review and manage lease agreements and amendments to ensure compliance with financing conditions, including recording memorandums.
- Manage land purchases and sale-leaseback arrangements as needed.
- Secure necessary easements in forms acceptable for financial closing.
- Execute land subdivisions or lot line adjustments required for project acquisitions.
- Obtain essential right-of-way agreements for driveways, pipelines, transmission lines, canals, DOT, communications, and utility infrastructure.
- Secure all permits required to build and operate large-scale solar and energy storage facilities.
- Obtain local land use approvals such as conditional use permits, zoning authorizations, and zoning letters from relevant authorities.
- Acquire state-level siting or facility permits including Certificates of Public Necessity, Electric Merchant Permits, and Electrical Siting Permits.
- Lead preparation and serve as primary representative at local and state land use hearings.
- Achieve environmental clearances from federal, state, and local agencies under regulations such as CEQA, NEPA, and SEQR.
- Conduct cultural and historic resource studies and secure clearance from State Historic Preservation Officers when needed.
- Manage filings with the Federal Aviation Administration and coordinate with nearby airports as required.
- Assess and secure approvals related to threatened and endangered species, including surveys, Section 7 consultations, and state or federal take permits.
- Oversee wetland delineation studies, submit Preliminary and Approved Jurisdictional Determinations, and secure Preconstruction Notices for Nationwide Wetland Permits.
- Manage interconnection applications from submission through to commercial operation.

Work schedule follows a standard weekday pattern, either 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time.
Travel Requirement
