About the Role

The Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the financial planning and analysis team, driving strategic decisions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets, and provide actionable insights to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage budgets and financial plans.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to drive business improvements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial planning and analysis capabilities.
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Support the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for differences between actual and budgeted results.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed to support the organization's financial goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other regulatory filings.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for mergers and acquisitions activities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to support financial decision-making.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial processes and controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for capital expenditure projects.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain financial software and systems.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for new business initiatives and opportunities.

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
