Canva is hiring a Senior Manager, Finance Transformation to lead our finance transformation initiatives. You will focus on process reengineering, automation, and AI-driven solutions, working cross-functionally across Finance, Finance Systems, Finance Data, and the broader business to shape and execute projects that improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.
What You'll Do
- Identify, design, and deliver scalable improvements across key global finance processes like Revenue, Billing, Payables, and Reporting.
- Embed AI-enabled ways of working, drive adoption and education, and help teams identify problems and expected outcomes.
- Lead transformation programs of varying scale, ensuring cross-functional stakeholder alignment, governance, and smooth change adoption.
- Coordinate project activities, dependencies, and timelines to ensure alignment between teams.
- Partner with Finance Systems, Data, and Engineering teams to implement automation, system integrations, and AI-based solutions.
- Collaborate with finance and business leaders to define the strategic direction for the Finance Technology stack and transformation priorities.
- Champion data-driven decision-making, ensuring finance data is leveraged effectively for reporting, analytics, and automation.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in Finance Transformation or Process Improvement roles.
- Experience with driving process redesign.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to break down ambiguity into actionable steps.
- Familiarity with finance ERP, billing and reporting systems such as Workday, Netsuite, Zuora, Salesforce, and Anaplan.
- Understanding of data, automation, and AI platforms.
- Proven ability to lead large scale transformation programs end-to-end from strategy and design to implementation and embedding.
- Balance of big-picture vision and detail orientation, with a strong understanding of finance processes and data flows.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally without effort.
- Growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement and leveraging new technologies like AI, automation, and analytics.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fast-scaling tech, SaaS, or global environments strongly preferred.
- A background in Finance with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or continuous improvement approaches.
- Ability to roll up sleeves, get into the detail, and play whatever role is needed to make projects a success.
