What You'll Do
Define and execute a clear, practical strategy for how data fuels business growth, ensuring foundational elements like infrastructure, modeling, and analytics evolve as the company scales. Design and implement robust, secure data systems that teams can depend on, enabling consistent access to high-quality information.
Establish straightforward governance practices that clarify ownership, documentation, and standards—without creating bottlenecks. Work directly alongside your team to build and refine pipelines, warehouses, and orchestration workflows, ensuring reliability and performance across the data stack.
Lead and develop a team of data professionals, setting expectations and fostering growth through direct collaboration. Partner with teams in Product, Finance, and Go-to-Market to prioritize initiatives that improve revenue visibility, streamline operations, and strengthen decision-making with data.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in data engineering and analytics roles, with at least three years managing technical teams
- Strong command of the full data lifecycle, including ETL, warehousing, orchestration, governance, and analytics platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead by doing—solving complex technical problems while guiding team development
- Experience defining KPIs and measurement frameworks that align with business goals
- Proven success in evolving data practices across organizations, including tooling, process, and cultural shifts
- Strategic mindset that balances immediate operational needs with long-term scalability
- Familiarity with integrating CRM, CDP, and warehouse systems to deliver actionable insights
- Track record of building and leading high-performing data teams in evolving environments
- Experience increasing trust and adoption of data across business functions
