Responsibilities
- Lead the complete architecture for billing, revenue, and cash systems, including Zuora platforms, ERP, tax engines, payment processors, and reporting infrastructure
- Design scalable and compliant solutions for subscription models, usage-based billing, complex pricing, contract changes, minimum commitments, and bundled products
- Serve as the technical authority for all Quote-to-Cash changes, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, SOX, audit standards, and internal controls
- Conduct design sessions, solution reviews, and architecture evaluations with finance and business stakeholders
- Convert complex business needs into detailed functional and technical designs, end-to-end workflows, and visual process maps
- Manage delivery of system improvements, transformations, and compliance projects across billing, accounts receivable, revenue, and cash operations
- Lead system migrations, data conversions, and integration of acquired businesses into the Q2C ecosystem
- Ensure production systems are highly available, with strong monitoring, incident response, and operational reliability
- Oversee integrations between billing, CRM, ERP (Oracle), tax systems, banks, payment gateways, usage platforms, and analytics tools
- Promote automation and end-to-end processing across billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial close
- Enforce enterprise standards for integration, security, and performance across all connected systems
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to support month-end close, reconciliations, audits, and regulatory filings
- Ensure systems are prepared for ASC 606 compliance, including deferred revenue, allocation logic, and performance obligations
- Enable scalable reporting and analytics for key metrics including revenue, aging, and operational performance
- Recruit, lead, and develop a team of application engineers, architects, and functional experts
- Define performance expectations, career development paths, and cross-functional learning opportunities
- Cultivate a team culture rooted in accountability, ownership, continuous learning, and innovation
- Provide mentorship and hands-on leadership to grow team capability and maturity
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders in finance, accounting, IT, and business units
- Manage cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams, vendors, and global locations
