Fiserv, a global leader in Fintech and payments, is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer (z/OS). In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, planning, design, management, configuration, and implementation of z/OS and z/OS based ISV software tools. You will support existing systems, assist other teams in problem resolution, and define technical solutions to meet business needs.

What You'll Do

Work with senior team members to perform problem determination and resolution, capture and transmit system dumps, and collaborate with vendor technical support.
Partner with internal customers to clarify technical requests, testing needs, and project support.
Collaborate with capacity and performance teams to proactively address potential performance issues impacting service levels.
Work with computer operations to quickly resolve incidents.
Support and participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and provide on-call support.
Perform detailed problem analysis and resolution.
Ensure availability and performance objectives for operating systems and system software components are maintained.
Provide informal project management for complex projects, deliver training, and assist in reviewing software requirements and establishing technical direction.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of experience with the application of z/OS systems configuration with ISV software tools.
8+ years of experience with ISV software, such as Synscort MFX or CA-Endevor.
8+ years of experience with JCL, UNIX Shell, and IBM system utilities.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience.

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation range of $124,300.00 - $213,100.00
Eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards.

Work Mode

This role is onsite in New Jersey, New York, or California.
