Path Robotics is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Tech Lead), Robot Learning, Loco- Manipulation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement machine learning models for robot locomotion and manipulation.
  • Lead a team of engineers in designing and executing machine learning projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into robotic systems.
  • Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and robotics.
  • Ensure the scalability and efficiency of machine learning models.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Implement best practices for machine learning model deployment and maintenance.
  • Participate in the design and development of new machine learning algorithms.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate machine learning tools and frameworks.
  • Work on improving the accuracy and performance of existing machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to gather and preprocess data for machine learning models.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for machine learning projects.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze results to optimize machine learning models.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of machine learning solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for machine learning issues.
  • Contribute to the development of machine learning standards and guidelines.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
  • Work on integrating machine learning models with robotic hardware.
  • Develop and implement machine learning pipelines for data processing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure the reliability and robustness of machine learning solutions.
  • Participate in the development of machine learning prototypes and proofs of concept.

Nice to Have

  • PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning and deep learning.
  • Familiarity with robotic simulation tools and environments.
  • Experience with computer vision and image processing.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing techniques.
  • Experience with machine learning in industrial applications.
  • Familiarity with robotic control systems.
