Jobgether is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer - NLP to design, develop, and deploy advanced models for impactful products in life sciences and biomedical domains. You will translate complex biological problems into scalable ML solutions and work within a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and optimize NLP and ML models for high-performance, production-ready pipelines.
- Collaborate with scientists and product managers to capture domain-specific requirements accurately.
- Lead or contribute to authoring technical design proposals aligned with platform roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities for technical improvements and implement solutions proactively.
- Ensure robust and scalable code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and review sessions, taking ownership of deliverables.
- Advocate for process improvements and cross-team knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on NLP.
- Strong experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong experience with image/data processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-image).
- Experience building and deploying ML models in cloud environments and production pipelines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a continuous desire to learn and grow.
