Jobgether is hiring a Business and Data Analyst - Medicaid to play a central role in driving data-informed decision-making for healthcare operations. You will analyze complex healthcare datasets, extract actionable insights, and translate business needs into detailed requirements for system implementations focused on Medicaid programs.
What You'll Do
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze Medicaid and healthcare datasets to identify trends, validate data quality, and summarize insights for stakeholders.
- Develop business requirements, system designs, and documentation for new solutions or enhancements to existing platforms.
- Participate in planning, requirements gathering, and clarification sessions with clients and internal teams.
- Assist with process analysis, process improvement, and implementation of operational efficiencies.
- Support QA and application support activities as needed to ensure successful client outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new technologies, platforms, and integrations for potential adoption.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with Healthcare Administration software and Medicaid datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, and/or Snowflake for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with requirements gathering, business documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
