Spotify is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the Home Next Formats team within our Personalization engineering organization. You will build and refine the machine learning systems that shape the future of how our users discover and experience content.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for the Home Next Formats product area.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define and solve complex personalization challenges.
- Lead the technical direction for ML projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining production machine learning systems.
- Expertise in machine learning fundamentals and model development lifecycle.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a cross-functional environment.
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates based in Boston, MA or New York, NY.
