About the Role
Design and implement scalable machine learning models to improve accuracy and efficiency in automatic speech recognition systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize deep learning models for speech processing tasks
- Collaborate with research teams to integrate novel algorithms into production systems
- Improve model performance through data curation and architecture refinement
- Work closely with software engineers to deploy models at scale
- Monitor and analyze model behavior in real-world environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in training and inference pipelines
- Contribute to version control and model reproducibility practices
- Evaluate new machine learning frameworks and tools
- Support the creation of multilingual and low-resource language models
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Maintain documentation for models and training procedures
- Optimize models for latency and computational efficiency
- Assist in defining metrics for model evaluation
- Stay current with advancements in machine learning and speech technology
- Contribute to project planning and milestone estimation
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards
- Collaborate across disciplines to align technical goals
- Support continuous integration and deployment workflows
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices in machine learning
- Identify opportunities for automation in model training and testing
