Responsibilities
- Work closely with creative, design, and art teams to evolve an open world demo into a complete, playable map centered on exploration and environmental storytelling.
- Guide player movement through natural landscapes by crafting layouts that convey story through spatial design, pacing, and discovery instead of direct exposition.
- Create systemic and engaging environments that invite interaction and reward exploration.
- Develop diverse, memorable locations, each with a distinct atmosphere, visual composition, and sense of identity to prevent repetition.
- Use terrain shaping, landmarks, and sightlines to direct exploration, drawing inspiration from the compositional mastery seen in Breath of the Wild, across a biome comparable in scale and density to one of its zones.
- Design two distinct types of gameplay areas: untamed Wild regions and inhabited Settled regions.
