Lead the evolution of our compliance infrastructure and serve as a key legal advisor across business operations, product development, and regulatory strategy. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in navigating complex legal landscapes within regulated industries.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and refine the organization’s compliance framework, including policies, controls, and internal procedures
- Ensure adherence to GDPR, IVDR, ISO standards, healthcare regulations, and corporate legal obligations
- Provide actionable legal guidance on commercial agreements, corporate matters, and operational initiatives
- Prepare, assess, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and partnership terms to support business objectives
- Identify legal and compliance risks, propose corrective actions, and promote sound governance practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product launches, market expansion, and operations with regulatory requirements
- Act as a liaison with external legal advisors, auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities
Requirements
- Law degree (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent) with 10+ years in legal and compliance roles
- Proven experience in Biotech, Pharma, MedTech, Life Sciences, or similar regulated sectors
- Thorough knowledge of compliance systems, commercial law, regulatory frameworks, and healthcare legislation
- Expertise in GDPR, IVDR, ISO standards, and corporate governance models
- Structured, practical mindset with strong drafting, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Fluency in English and Slovenian, both written and spoken
