Celestica is looking for a Senior Lead Engineer, Systems/Applications Design to lead the design, integration, and management of complex systems over their life cycles. This interdisciplinary role is pivotal in driving technical solutions and coordinating cross-functional efforts for robust product development.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions across multiple domains.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers.
- Review, interpret and potentially negotiate customer requirements and specifications.
- Lead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
- Design, modify and implement systems to meet customer and Celestica needs.
- Test, simulate, measure, and troubleshoot system performance.
- Research systems ideas and develop plans for new systems.
- Proactively promote industry best practices.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
- Analyze and interpret data to recommend system modifications.
- Create comprehensive reports and documentation.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling.
- May manage relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations.
- Solve complex engineering problems.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
