Electrify America is looking for an Internship Machine Learning Vehicle Control student to join our team. You will focus on brake and chassis control systems, developing functions to enhance vehicle performance and stabilization using hybrid machine learning methods.
What You'll Do
- Develop hybrid machine learning methods for vehicle control systems.
- Provide characterizing vehicle control for assisted and automated driving.
- Consider system properties for development and operation, including effects of variant/component diversity and aging over the vehicle's lifetime.
- Perform machine learning procedures for integration into parameterized vehicle control systems.
- Gain knowledge in the chassis domain while working on highly relevant automotive industry topics.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled student in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable fields.
- Good to very good grades.
- Good programming skills in Python and Matlab.
- Practical experience in machine learning and algorithm development.
- Knowledge of modern software development methods.
- German and English language level B2.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of reinforcement learning.
- Experience with CarMaker.
