Responsibilities

- Oversee database lock procedures and final data delivery for analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data processes with study protocols
- Manage vendor relationships related to electronic data capture systems
- Develop and maintain data management plans and study timelines
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory standards
- Conduct data review and query management processes efficiently
- Support audit and inspection readiness for data-related activities
- Lead training initiatives for data team members on new systems and protocols
- Optimize data workflows to improve accuracy and reduce cycle times
- Review data management specifications with clinical and biostatistics teams
- Ensure data integrity and traceability throughout the study lifecycle
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata
- Participate in system validation for data management software
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality and operational efficiency
- Serve as primary contact for complex data issues across projects
- Coordinate global data management activities across time zones
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies
- Mentor mid-level staff in professional development and technical skills
- Evaluate new technologies to enhance data management capabilities
- Support regulatory submissions with accurate and complete data sets
- Maintain documentation for all data management processes and decisions
