GQS GmbH is hiring a Senior IT Security Consultant (m/w/d) to be a key advisor for our clients on all aspects of information security. You will join a team of experienced specialists to help organizations build robust security postures.

What You'll Do

• Provide expert technical and methodological consulting to clients on information security, security management systems (ISMS), and secure technology landscapes.
• Conduct and evaluate technical, procedural, and organizational risk and vulnerability analyses.
• Create security concepts, define effective security measures, and guide their implementation and success monitoring.
• Support the introduction of information security management systems.
• Accompany clients through ISMS certification processes and IT audits.

What We're Looking For

• A completed degree in business informatics, computer science, cyber security, or a related field.
• Several years of broad, practical experience applying information security standards (BSI-Standards, ISO/IEC 27001:2022).
• Independent, highly structured work ethic with attention to detail and solution-oriented thinking.
• Enjoyment of consultative and moderating communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Openness to new things, appreciation for variety, and a value for team spirit and empathy.
• Fluent German language skills (C1/C2 level).

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications such as IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker or IT-Grundschutz-Berater.
