Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is seeking a Senior IT Administrator to oversee our technology infrastructure, which supports internal operations and secure care coordination for underserved populations. This is a key role in our fast-growing, mission-driven organization, focused on ensuring system reliability, security, and user support.
What You'll Do
- Lead procurement, deployment, and asset management of employee devices, including Apple laptops and Chromebooks.
- Administer and monitor the company laptop fleet using MDM tools and collaborate with third-party Chromebook support providers.
- Manage software licensing, acquisitions, and user accounts across 50+ external services.
- Oversee internal help desk operations, addressing user issues and improving support workflows.
- Deliver technical support and training to internal and external users as needed.
- Monitor IT systems, generate relevant metrics, and stay updated on security trends and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the security team to support audits and implement controls to ensure policy adherence.
- Ensure documentation of IT infrastructure and standard operating procedures is accurate and up to date.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in IT administration or computer support.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Apple computers and managing device fleets via MDM platforms.
- Familiarity with Chromebook ecosystems and vendor coordination for outsourced support.
- Proficient in scripting languages and comfortable working with documentation tools and strategies.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to Have
- Preference for experience in Apple environments.
- Previous experience managing third-party contractors is a plus.
