Wealthsimple is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Platform Developer to join our Data & Engineering Infrastructure team. You will design and build the foundational systems and platforms that our engineering organization relies on to build, test, and deploy our products.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure platforms and services
- Develop automation tooling and frameworks to improve developer productivity
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their platform needs and pain points
- Establish and advocate for best practices in infrastructure reliability, security, and scalability
- Participate in on-call rotation to ensure platform stability
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale, distributed systems
- Strong programming skills in languages like Go, Python, or Java
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization
- Ability to design simple, elegant solutions to complex infrastructure problems
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
