Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payments to employees.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including data privacy and employment standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to maintain benefits programs.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the organization's growth.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to the HR team on payroll, benefits, and compliance issues.
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Prepare and submit required government reports and filings.
- Stay current with changes in labor laws and regulations and update policies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting related to payroll and benefits.
- Manage the administration of employee leave programs, including sick leave, vacation, and family leave.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to employees on benefits and payroll-related topics.
- Manage the administration of employee recognition and reward programs.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of employee data and records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Provide support to the HR team during open enrollment periods for benefits.
- Conduct regular reviews of HR policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Provide support to the HR team during mergers and acquisitions or other organizational changes.
- Conduct regular reviews of employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee wellness programs.
Nice to Have
- Certification in HR, such as PHR or SPHR.
