Lead the development of the Clockmaker game by managing core mechanics, enhancing the metagame and in-game economy, and collaborating with the project team to deliver compelling player experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee game mechanics and content development aligned with the game's overall vision
- Take ownership of project outcomes and deliverables
- Enhance the metagame using data analysis and performance metrics
- Design and refine the in-game economy and monetization systems
- Perform balance calculations and analyze in-game statistics
- Develop and maintain the Game Design Document (GDD)
- Collaborate closely with team members across disciplines
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience as a game designer
- Experience with match-3 games or titles targeting casual audiences
- Strong grasp of the casual games market landscape
- Demonstrated portfolio of shipped games with clear designer involvement
- Proficiency in using analytics tools and interpreting product metrics to inform design decisions
- Experience creating and managing game design documentation, including concept and GDDs
- Ability to define clear objectives and maintain focus on results
- Proactive and energetic work style
- Intermediate or higher English language proficiency
