Tapcart Inc. is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Content Experiences

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer on the Content Team, you’ll drive the evolution of a widely used component library and in-app features that power mobile shopping experiences for millions. You’ll take ownership of the full development lifecycle—from ideation to deployment—ensuring systems are robust, maintainable, and built with long-term scalability in mind.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and maintain a type-safe, reusable React/Next.js component system used across thousands of applications
  • Develop and refine UI prototypes in rapid weekly cycles, validating concepts directly with live merchants
  • Optimize performance across bundle size, server-side rendering, accessibility (WCAG), and client-side responsiveness
  • Build developer tooling—including CLI utilities, linting rules, and CI pipelines—to empower external developers to extend functionality securely
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define architectural patterns that support speed and flexibility
  • Help shape the future of AI-driven mobile development by integrating intelligent workflows into core tooling
  • Ensure production-ready delivery by aligning technical execution with real user needs and business goals

What We’re Looking For

  • 5-7 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on full-stack development using React, React Native, and TypeScript
  • Proven track record building and maintaining design systems or component libraries
  • Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments
  • Ability to deliver polished, production-grade code in fast-moving, collaborative settings

Nice-to-Have

  • Background in Shopify or ecommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with GraphQL APIs
  • Experience contributing to open-source design system projects or developer tools
  • Engagement in UX discussions or product critique

Technology Environment

Our stack includes React, Next.js, TypeScript, React Native, GraphQL, CLI tools, CI/CD pipelines, linting systems, and cloud deployment platforms.

Work Environment
