GitLab is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain both front-end user interfaces and back-end services and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle and contribute to architectural discussions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end user interfaces using React.
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Golang.
- Implement and integrate RESTful APIs for communication between systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain database solutions, often with PostgreSQL.
- Write clean, scalable, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure application performance.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years’ experience in software development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Agile).
- Proficiency in React.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, React Router).
- Solid experience in Go programming for building back-end services and APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to work across the entire application stack.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with database concepts and experience with relevant database systems.
- Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation: $145,000 - $165,000 USD + equity via stock options.
