What You'll Do
Lead the development and implementation of core features within a growing financial services platform serving millions. You'll work across the full stack to deliver reliable, well-architected systems that scale. Partner closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to define technical direction and bring impactful features to life.
Take ownership of complex problems, proactively identifying opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. Guide architectural decisions and advocate for long-term system health, not just short-term delivery. Share knowledge through code reviews, pair programming, and mentorship to strengthen the team’s overall capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in React (including modern hooks) and Node.js
- Strong command of TypeScript across frontend and backend
- Experience building and maintaining full-stack applications with a focus on clean, testable code
- Deep understanding of software design principles and maintainable architecture
- Self-driven approach with a focus on solving meaningful problems, not just completing tasks
- Commitment to engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation
- Ability to mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Next.js for server-side rendering and routing
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling
- Knowledge of REST or GraphQL for building and consuming APIs
- Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Understanding of Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design concepts
- Application of SOLID principles in real-world systems
- Proficiency with testing tools such as Jest or Cypress
- Experience using Redis for caching or messaging
- Cloud platform experience with AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with Java, particularly in hybrid backend environments
