As a Software Engineer at Aios Medical (YC W20/S21), you will build and maintain core systems for ClinicOS — an AI-driven clinical operating system enabling consumer brands to deliver direct-to-patient healthcare globally. You'll work remotely from Kosovo as part of a fast-moving, async-first engineering team focused on scaling infrastructure, unblocking market launches, and improving patient care efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain core software applications and systems that teams rely on daily
- Contribute to product features that directly enable upcoming market launches
- Support critical compliance and personalization work to keep operations moving
- Own and scale parts of the infrastructure that make new market launches possible
- Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions to ensure global scalability
- Deliver features that reduce average patient care time from ~40 minutes toward zero
- Write and maintain technical documentation to compound knowledge across the team
- Perform code reviews and uphold engineering standards to maintain high code quality as the company grows
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Shipped high-quality web and/or mobile apps using React or React Native
- Deep experience shipping modern GraphQL or REST APIs
- Comfortable with system design, databases, background processing, and cloud deployments
- Ability to work independently in a distributed, async-first environment
- Based in Kosovo 🇽🇰
Nice to Have
- Typescript, React, Next.js experience
- React Native experience
- Nest.js, PostgreSQL, BullMQ, Redis, CI/CD, AWS experience
- Experience building tools/apps on top of LLMs
- Familiarity with design systems, customer interviews, and navigating Figma
- Experience with performance monitoring, web/mobile metrics, user pattern usage, Sentry, and A/B testing
- Experience with no-code tools such as Webflow, Zapier
- CS degree
- Open source contributions

5 software engineers (currently hiring 5) forming a fully remote engineering team based in Kosovo; works closely with product, growth, ops, clinical teams, CEO (Richie), and Head of Engineering. Reports to Gzim Helshani, Head of Engineering.
