CoverGo is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our international team. You will design, implement, and maintain new features for our leading Insurtech SAAS platform, translating complex insurance business requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions while working fully remote within the CET timezone.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain new features and functionalities for the SAAS platform.
- Work on both the front-end and back-end of the application, optimizing performance for high user traffic and large datasets.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to understand end-user requirements and deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and write unit and integration tests.
- Investigate and promptly fix bugs to maintain platform reliability.
- Ensure security, compliance, and adherence to regulations for handling sensitive customer data.
- Design the platform with scalability and flexibility to accommodate growth.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers to aid in their technical growth.
- Stay current with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer on complex SAAS applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Vue, .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for building scalable applications.
- Thorough understanding and practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with unit, integration, and function testing using front-end and back-end testing libraries.
- Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles for creating a maintainable architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of web security best practices and experience ensuring compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in performance optimization for high-traffic web applications.
- Experience with container technologies and a good understanding of cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical team members.
- A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development.
