CoverGo is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to guide the technical direction of our innovative insurance SaaS platform. You will lead design and implementation efforts, mentor the team, and ensure we deliver secure, scalable software to a global user base.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise software solutions, providing technical direction.
- Offer expertise in front-end and back-end technologies, guiding technology selection, architecture, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into cohesive solutions.
- Optimize platform performance to handle large datasets and high user traffic.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive the adoption of best practices.
- Investigate and address bugs to maintain platform reliability.
- Ensure application security and compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay current with the latest technologies and frameworks, guiding the team's innovation.
- Design for scalability and flexibility to accommodate growth and evolving features.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior developers.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years as a Full Stack Engineer with a proven track record leading complex SaaS applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Vue, .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
- Expertise in RESTful API design patterns using OpenAPI and Swagger.
- Familiarity with API Gateways and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Minimum 2 years in a senior or management role, capable of guiding development teams.
- Thorough understanding and practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing libraries.
- In-depth knowledge of web security best practices and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in performance optimization for high-traffic applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for staying updated with the latest trends and best practices.
