Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to a fast-paced Agile DevOps team. You will design and build secure, scalable enterprise applications using cutting-edge technologies on AWS, playing a vital role in the full software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

Collaborate in a high-performance Agile DevOps team to build and deliver modern applications.
Design and develop software solutions across the full stack, including user interfaces, REST APIs, and data access layers.
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
Develop and maintain applications deployed in Docker environments, ensuring CI/CD best practices are followed.
Perform automated testing including unit, integration, functional, performance, and accessibility tests.
Contribute to secure development practices using tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, and ZAP.
Engage in microservices architecture and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ when required.
Ensure all software passes quality gates within continuous integration pipelines.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management, or equivalent experience/certifications.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software development, DevSecOps, and full stack engineering.
Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, JPA, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
Proven ability to develop enterprise-level solutions in AWS environments.
Experience with containerized development using Docker and Docker Compose.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation platforms such as Jenkins.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to Have

Experience in microservices deployment on Kubernetes (EKS, OpenShift, etc.).
Hands-on knowledge of asynchronous messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with test-driven development frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, REST/JSON, and database migration tools like Liquibase or Flyway.
Experience with secure coding practices and performance testing.
Comfortable using scrum management tools such as Jira.
