At Founders Workshop, the Senior Full-Stack Developer plays a critical role in bringing client visions to life by building innovative software. You will balance cost, quality, and speed while focusing on both the strategic picture and fine details. This 100% remote position requires a developer who can own large features and deliver high-quality results.
What You'll Do
- Use requirements to develop features that meet client needs.
- Write high-quality code following best practices.
- Connect daily with your remote team to coordinate work.
- Provide clear, regular updates on task progress.
- Ask questions and make suggestions to improve project outcomes.
- Analyze requirements and test scripts thoroughly.
- Assist in planning and scope management.
- Collaborate with project leadership and team members.
- Identify and resolve blockers to maintain team velocity.
- Test code locally and participate in weekly code reviews.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript software development.
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript (NodeJS).
- Ability to take ownership of the full lifecycle of large features with minimal supervision.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of React.
- Experience with API implementation (REST/GraphQL).
- Comfortable working with Postgres and relational databases.
- Reasonable CSS skills.
- Detail-oriented approach ensuring high quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing work.
- Based in Latin America (LATAM) for time zone alignment.
- Proficient in conversational English (B2 to C1 level).
- Adaptable and quick to adjust to new challenges and changing requirements.
- Proactive and clear communication style.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Material UI.
- Experience with ElasticSearch.
- Experience with Advanced SQL (Postgres).
- Experience with Cypress.
- Experience with tRPC.
- Experience with Algolia.
- Basic AWS/DevOps understanding (Docker, EC2, S3).
- Experience with Unit & E2E Testing.
- Experience designing mock-ups using tools like Balsamiq and/or Figma.
