M3 EU is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer

Merck & Co., Inc. (MSD) is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to plan, lead, and contribute to the development of web and mobile applications. You will take ownership of system-wide understanding, contribute to strategic and architectural decisions, and work within a dynamic, innovative environment dedicated to global health advancements.

What You'll Do

• Plan, lead, and actively contribute to the development of web and mobile applications in an agile environment.
• Take ownership of understanding the whole system and teach it to others.
• Contribute to strategy and architectural decisions supporting service growth.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members.
• Find ways to improve system robustness, resilience, and stability.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in full stack JavaScript .NET stack development using Node.JS or .NET Core and Web API.
• Commercial experience with web applications in a containerized environment (Docker).
• Commercial experience working with content management systems (CMS).
• Demonstrable experience architecting web-based solutions and introducing new technologies into existing systems.
• Experience designing applications with databases like Postgres, MongoDB, or MSSQL.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, or MVC.
• Experience supporting and mentoring junior developers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated, delivery-focused approach.
• Good understanding of Agile processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservice container orchestration platforms like Mesos/Marathon or Kubernetes.
• Experience working with ReactJS component libraries.
• Experience building out CI/CD frameworks and build pipelines.
• Experience with mobile app development frameworks.
• Experience with serverless services like AWS Lambda or Jamstack.
• Experience working with PHP (WordPress).
• Experience using services provided by AWS or Azure.
