Kaufland e-commerce is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to play a key role in developing and optimizing the Kaufland Marketplace and internal services. You will join a dynamic environment focused on delivering an exceptional shopping experience through highly scalable, performant technology.
What You'll Do
- Proactively develop the Kaufland Marketplace and internal services further.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI experts to design and implement solutions for an exceptional shopping experience.
- Continuously optimize and maintain existing frontend applications regarding performance, speed, usability, minimizing load times and maximizing interactivity.
- Proactively contribute your own suggestions, solutions, and technologies to the development process.
- Work on highly scalable and performant SSR Vue 3 frontends serving pages with high traffic.
- Commit to continuously improving your colleagues’ know-how, methodology, and quality, and lead by example.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience as an Engineer solving different engineering problems.
- Profound knowledge of TypeScript and Vue.js, or experience with other common frameworks.
- Familiarity with backend application development in Node.js, PHP, or other languages.
- Knowledgeable about testing, debugging, monitoring, and deployment techniques for web applications.
- Experience with building responsive web applications and using different API paradigms.
- Proactive work style, taking responsibility and challenging processes.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (C1).
- Enjoy working in an international environment.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methods and principles for writing maintainable code.
- Committed to learning and adapting to new technologies quickly.
- Drive to continuously develop both yourself and your team.
- Know how and when to document technical specifications and decisions.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts.
Nice to Have
- Experience running efficient experiments and validating ideas using A/B Tests in high-iteration cycles.
