We’re building tools that empower Airbnb hosts to manage their properties more effectively, and we need a seasoned front-end engineer to help us refine and scale the experience. In this role, you’ll work across the frontend to design, implement, and improve features that directly impact how hosts interact with our product.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of user-facing features in Angular, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and intuitive
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Take full ownership of features—from initial concept through deployment and iteration
- Break complex initiatives into manageable deliverables to accelerate time-to-value
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and advocate for maintainable, testable code
- Use observability tools like LogRocket and Sentry to monitor performance and resolve issues in production
- Help identify opportunities to improve frontend systems and development workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a front-end engineer with strong command of Angular
- A mindset centered on product impact and user experience
- Ability to thrive in a distributed, asynchronous work environment
- Track record of delivering production-grade web applications
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
- Ownership over code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with Laravel, PHP, or MySQL
- Experience with Beanstalk for job processing
- Background using observability platforms such as Sentry or LogRocket
- Previous work in startup or high-growth settings
