As a Senior Fraud Risk Associate at Ramp, you will be a key member of the Fraud Strategy team. You will use data to build and improve fraud and underwriting strategies, with significant ownership and autonomy to innovate.
What You'll Do
- Leverage performance data to develop best-in-class fraud policies for identity, transaction, and account takeover fraud
- Conduct root cause analyses on fraud events and build data-driven defenses
- Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to implement fraud policies and features
- Implement fraud risk metric monitoring and develop levers to mitigate risk
- Collaborate with data scientists to build and leverage fraud risk models
- Drive customer experience by analyzing the flow of funds, including repayments and chargebacks
- Research emerging fraud trends to innovate on decision systems and policies
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fraud risk management or a quantitative strategy role
- Minimum 5 years of experience using SQL, Python, or R for data retrieval and manipulation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-growth startups
- Experience within consumer/corporate/small business cards, payments, invoices, lending, or related industries

Compensation for candidates located in NYC or SF is $151,500 - $208,350. For all other U.S. locations, the pay range is $136,400 - $187,550.
