- Conduct trade-off analyses to design, develop, and simulate satellite launch and early orbit phase (LEOP) plans
- Create and manage spacecraft in-orbit operations procedures, including execution oversight and training coordination
- Develop satellite operations manuals and test procedures, and supervise their implementation and associated training
- Build verification and validation matrices for commissioning, routine, and contingency operations
- Support in-orbit testing, anomaly investigation, and fault detection, isolation, and recovery (FDIR)
- Assist with satellite simulator operations and the development of associated scripts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a relevant technical field
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in satellite systems engineering
- Proven background working with LEO/MEO satellite systems
- Experience in automated satellite operations, including system design and in-orbit testing
