Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, or equivalent technical discipline)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of field service experience supporting industrial combustion or heating systems
- Strong understanding of fundamental combustion principles, including air‑to‑fuel ratios, flammability limits, NOₓ formation mechanisms, and available heat
- Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience working with Bloom Engineering equipment
- Demonstrated experience supporting industrial customers
- Working knowledge of NFPA 86 and comparable industrial combustion safety codes
- OSHA 10-Hour and NFPA 70E safety training (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Valid passport or ability to obtain a passport
Nice to Have
- Extensive experience with industrial combustion systems, burners, furnaces, and heat-processing equipment
- Strong background in calibration, configuration, and analysis of mechanical and electrical instrumentation
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
- Experience following and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic
- Strong working knowledge of PID control systems and industrial instrumentation
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards and field best practices
- Advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Proven ability to operate independently while managing customer expectations and complex field assignments
