About the Role

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Senior Field Sales Manager to drive business growth by deeply understanding customer needs and representing our products and services. In this remote role, you will be responsible for generating revenue through new sales and account management within an assigned territory.

What You'll Do

  • Generate new sales prospects and identify and qualify potential sales leads.
  • Manage all aspects of a sales territory, including new sales and account management.
  • Collaborate with team members on renewal, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to understand their needs.
  • Engage in moderate negotiations to successfully close sales.
  • Manage, prioritize, and monitor sales activities and pipeline within the territory.
  • Conduct compelling product and service demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Provide detailed sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Analyze and anticipate customer requirements for tailored solutions.
  • Collect and utilize market intelligence to improve sales approaches.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Travel to attend conferences, events, and customer meetings as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Field Sales, Account Management, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of business, financials, products/services, and the market.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your own territory/account and monitor resources.
  • Understanding of business, financials, products/services, market, or account needs.
  • Moderate authority to set and negotiate product/service terms.
  • Experience managing moderately complex or medium-sized territories, accounts, products/services, or sales processes.
  • Capability to plan your own territory or account approach.

  • CRM and sales tracking software.

Team & Environment

You will liaise with cross-functional teams including Production, Projects, Customer Service, Product Development, and Sales.
