Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Senior Field, Networks, and Communication Lead to join our ITS/Smart Mobility Group. In this senior technical role, you will design and deploy state-of-the-art software solutions centered on the iNET Product, integrating a wide range of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) assets. You will develop advanced designs and specifications while contributing to the growth and technical direction of our team.
What You'll Do
- Function as a senior technical leader, creating enhanced solutions to meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Research, analyze, and organize statistics or technical materials for specific applications.
- Independently develop and supervise the creation of advanced ITS designs, Special Provisions, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with other ITS design team members on designs and specification submittals.
- Participate in business development, supporting proposal preparation and formal client presentations.
- Keep abreast of technological developments in your area of expertise.
- Participate in one or more professional organizations.
- May write or review articles for publication in professional journals.
- Provide technical direction to others in the production of products or services.
- Supervise or mentor subordinates and provide performance input.
- Oversee project development and coordinate teams of developers to meet design standards.
- Plan, track, and schedule deliverables, often using agile processes like sprint planning.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 15+ years of ITS Design experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Nice to Have
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.
