Paired is hiring a Senior Executive Assistant for our strategy and brand consulting studio. This is not a traditional EA role. Your core mission is to reduce founder cognitive load, convert ambiguity into clarity, and build operational leverage. You will start with execution and coordination, with a clear expectation to grow into judgment, anticipation, and systems ownership.
What You'll Do
- Take full ownership of the founder's calendar, inbox, scheduling, and follow-through.
- Draft and respond in the founder’s voice with warmth and precision.
- Summarize long threads into clear decisions, actions, and priorities.
- Prepare daily and weekly briefs outlining what happened, what matters, and what requires decisions.
- Filter noise to keep the founder operating at the correct strategic altitude.
- Convert voice notes, Slack messages, Looms, meetings, and ideas into clear, actionable tasks.
- Build and manage ClickUp tasks with owners, deadlines, dependencies, and context.
- Track execution across multiple parallel workstreams and relentlessly close loops.
- Identify risks and issues before they escalate.
- Prepare decision-ready options without prompting and make judgment calls within guardrails.
- Say 'no' or 'not now' on the founder’s behalf when appropriate.
- Actively use and continuously improve systems and tools.
- Liaise with strategy, design, operations, and delivery collaborators across a distributed team.
- Maintain meeting rhythms, agendas, notes, and follow-ups.
- Ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
What We're Looking For
- A track record of having operated above your formal title.
- Experience supporting a founder, CEO, or senior leader in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong inclination toward systems, structure, and clarity-building.
- Demonstrated judgment, ownership, and a high learning velocity.
Nice to Have
- Experience as an Engagement Manager, Project Lead, Operations Generalist, Founder’s Associate, or a high-judgment EA.
- Previous Executive Assistant experience.
- Strategic or operational experience.
- Interest in a clear growth path toward Chief of Staff–level responsibility.

You'll join a distributed team and report directly to the Founder.

- Growth Path: You will be on a Chief of Staff Track starting between months 4 and 12. The scope expands into running internal operating cadence, leading initiatives, preparing the founder for decisions, representing the founder in meetings, and designing dashboards and rituals.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, global position.
