As a Senior EP Mapping Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing cardiac care by supporting the clinical implementation of Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions. You will work directly with physicians, hospital staff, and sales teams across the Cleveland and Columbus areas to ensure effective use of EP mapping and navigation systems, focusing on safety, precision, and optimal patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Deliver hands-on training and technical support for EP mapping systems and related CAS technologies to clinical and hospital personnel
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and support opportunities for product adoption and expansion
- Build trusted relationships with healthcare providers to promote proper use and long-term utilization of Medtronic solutions
- Act as a clinical resource during procedures, ensuring seamless integration of technology into electrophysiology workflows
- Share best practices and serve as a regional advocate for mapping system proficiency
- Coordinate with regional and territory leaders to align with sales and clinical objectives
- Respond to unscheduled clinical needs within your assigned territory on a daily basis
- Travel regularly within the region, including occasional overnight trips outside your primary area
Requirements
- High school diploma and at least 8 years of experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, OR
- Associate degree and 6 years of relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in cardiac mapping or related field
- Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and operate computer systems
- Willingness and ability to drive 25–50% of the time, including occasional overnight travel
- Must reside within the Cleveland/Columbus territory and be available daily for on-site needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in nursing, life sciences, cardiovascular technology, or a technical field
- Experience in cardiac catheter ablation, EP labs, or clinical sales with technical support responsibilities
- Proven ability to train medical professionals on complex technologies
- Willingness to travel more than 25% of the time
