HERO Software GmbH is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager (w/m/d) to lead, mentor, and develop an engineering team, with the perspective of leading multiple teams. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and own strategic plans for quality and architecture.

- Launch continuous improvement initiatives and develop strategic plans for quality standards and architecture.
- Drive the technology roadmap and ensure scalability together with the CTO and Tech Leads.
- Pave the way for growth, whether by building new teams or leading challenging projects with business impact.
- Foster an excellent engineering culture of trust, collaboration, and ownership, and represent the team externally.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of leadership experience with one or more engineering teams.
- Strong leadership with excellent communication skills.
- Strategic thinking combined with sharp problem-solving and strong project management skills.
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to tackle technical challenges yourself when needed.
Nice to Have
- Background from a SaaS or startup environment.
- Full‑stack engineering expertise.
