What You'll Do
Lead the end-to-end development of distributed energy projects, from initial feasibility assessments to commissioning. Evaluate the technical and economic viability of solar, battery storage, EV charging, and grid-integrated systems across commercial and industrial sites. Develop financial models to assess revenue potential, market participation, and grid services opportunities.
Act as a trusted technical advisor, shaping project strategy and coordinating with developers, contractors, utilities, and suppliers to deliver optimized solutions. Serve as Owner’s Representative during design, procurement, and construction, ensuring projects meet performance, budget, and timeline goals. Partner with internal software teams to improve analytical tools and modeling capabilities used across the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related technical field
- 6–8 years of experience in renewable energy development, distributed energy resources, or infrastructure projects
- Proven understanding of solar PV, battery storage, cogeneration, microgrids, or backup power systems
- Experience with electricity markets, grid flexibility, EV charging infrastructure, or data center energy systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience applying data science techniques to energy analysis

- PhD in a relevant technical or analytical discipline
