Responsibilities
- Be influential in the preparation of technical electrical design documentation on building services projects across a variety of industries and market sectors, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective project delivery.
- Work closely with a team of experienced, multidisciplinary engineers on major projects, contributing to project planning, design delivery, and mentoring junior engineers within the business.
- Contribute to projects across the broader team by providing specialised technical advice, applying your knowledge and experience of Australian Standards and reviewing design calculations, specifications and drawings.
- Lead electrical components of major projects across sectors including health, aviation, defence, education, commercial and transport, delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across our expansive multi-disciplinary engineering team to provide high-level technical advice on community-defining projects, with exposure to client-facing roles supported by a Principal Engineer.
Requirements
- Strong electrical design experience in a variety of buildings
- Experience in preparing technical electrical design documentation
- Knowledge and experience of Australian Standards
- Ability to review design calculations, specifications, and drawings
- Proven ability to lead electrical components of major projects
- Experience working on building services projects across multiple sectors including health, aviation, defence, education, commercial, and transport
