Gartner is hiring a Senior Director Analyst to join our team as a thought leader specializing in AI Governance. In this role, you will create pragmatic research and provide actionable advice to help Data & Analytics Leaders establish and improve their AI Governance programs.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality actionable advice through a variety of media.
- Write provocative and pragmatic research that is clear and actionable.
- Provide high quality and timely research content peer review.
- Create and deliver presentations for webinars, onsite engagements, and Gartner conferences.
- Track vendors, market trends and emerging practices to remain ahead of the curve within AI Governance and adjacent spaces.
- Deliver outstanding sales support to retain and grow the Gartner business.
- Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner research, methodology and strategy.
- Actively participate in innovation, ideation, and research discussions and collaborate effectively with peers in the research community.
- Identify research process improvements or develop new processes that help the team and Research & Advisory provide excellent service delivery.
- Be a mentor and a coach by supporting more junior team members.
What We're Looking For
- Subject matter expertise, with demonstrated knowledge of AI Governance programs and practices.
- Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Professional Qualification, or 12+ years direct experience in a field related to AI Governance.
- An understanding of the AI Governance market: key vendors, must-have capabilities, and market direction.
- Hands-on experience in establishing or being involved in an AI Governance initiative.
- Deep understanding of the relationship and intersection between Data Governance and AI Governance.
- Demonstrate executive presence; can immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables.
- Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability.
- Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.
- Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges.
- Strong communicator who can explain complex concepts concisely and simply.
- Ability to confidently speak to C-Level Executives and provide actionable insights or explain concepts targeted and relatable to their role.
- Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global team.
- Learning agile and adept with navigating highly matrixed environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
